What You’ll Do:

• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce deployment times
• Deploy and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructures on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Lead incident response efforts, providing extended coverage and maintaining system health with high uptime
• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions for seamless software delivery
• Apply cybersecurity best practices by promptly deploying security patches and updates
• Document processes, configurations, and procedures to foster knowledge sharing across teams

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, S3, Aurora/Postgres, Route 53, WAF, and CloudFront
• Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• Proven expertise in building and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Solid containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and management
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and ELK stack for system observability and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with service mesh technologies like Istio
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and secure deployment protocols
• Familiarity with SDLC, agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and multi-tenant enterprise architectures
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery automation

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure at an enterprise level
• Adaptability to fast-paced, collaborative environments with a global footprint
• Ability to work hybrids or onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with standard PST working hours and flexibility for international meetings

Other Requirements:

• This is a contract (contingent) role with renewal options every 3 months
• Immediate start preferred
• Hybrid/on-site presence in Palo Alto, CA
• Flexibility for occasional late afternoon/early evening meetings with teams across North America and Japan
