Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to lead requirements gathering, documentation, and communication for complex software projects, including laboratory information systems. In this role, you will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical development teams, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications and ensuring seamless project execution. If you have a strong background in Pharma, laboratory systems, and agile methodologies, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this position is perfect for you.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience with demonstrable success in software project implementations
- Expertise in laboratory information systems and Pharma industry workflows
- Proven experience in agile environments, including participation in Scrum stand-ups
- Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, Modern Requirements, and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed requirements analysis and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Ability to lead requirements meetings and develop comprehensive requirements documents including use cases, flow diagrams, and business rules
- Experience serving as a technical liaison on systems development, upgrades, and enhancements
- Project management and problem-solving capabilities
- Computer aptitude with solid understanding of business processes/products supported
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with laboratory or pharmaceutical laboratory information systems
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and configuration management
- Familiarity with testing coordination and user acceptance testing processes
- Additional experience with Agile tools and methodologies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience working in remote teams, specifically within EST hours
Other Requirements:
- This position is remote, with EST hours required
- Willingness to participate in Scrum stand-up calls and other agile ceremonies
- No travel required
- W2 employment only; C2C is not available for this role
