Required Skills:
- 5–7+ years of experience in marketing technology and lifecycle marketing
- Hands-on expertise with Braze or similar ESP/CEP platforms, including segmentation, Liquid/templating, and campaign orchestration
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with data, product, and engineering teams
- Experience managing martech platforms, integrations, and APIs
- Strong project management skills using tools like Jira, Asana, or Airtable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Curiosity about agentic AI, martech innovation, and adaptive learning systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with marketing automation and workflow optimization tools
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in marketing
- Familiarity with data analytics and customer engagement metrics
- Prior experience in a fast-paced E-commerce or retail environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience in martech, lifecycle marketing, or related roles
- Prior contract or consulting experience in a similar capacity
Other Requirements:
- Location: Hybrid in Oakland, CA (3 days onsite: Mon, Wed, Thu; Tuesday remote, no Fridays)
- Weekly commitment: 32 hours/week
- Contract duration: 6–8 weeks, with a target start within 1 week of offer
- Availability for potential short-term travel or onsite meetings as needed
