Utility / Custodial

Nesco Resource is in need of a Utility/Custodial for our local Client in Lenoir, NC
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Pay: $17.00 plus $1.00 for attendance bonus

Utility / Custodial Associate

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep throughout office, manufacturing, and common areas in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform janitorial and custodial duties including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom cleaning
• Clean and maintain break areas, offices, production areas, and exterior grounds
• Operate cleaning equipment including floor sweepers and buffers
• Remove cardboard, pallets, and facility waste as needed
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory of cleaning materials
• Complete minor maintenance tasks including painting and basic repairs as assigned
• Perform courier duties including local pickups, deliveries, and mail transport between facilities

Requirements:

• 1+ year of janitorial/custodial experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading and communication skills
• Ability to work throughout office and manufacturing environments

TOOLS: 

Floor sweeper, mops, brooms, brushes, sponges, gloves, buffers, and maintenance tools appropriate for cleaning and repairs.
