The role:
A leading Build-to-Rent company is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance standards, compliance, site support, contractor management and performance reporting across the portfolio.

The Facilities Manager will also support the mobilisation of new BTR assets, ensuring maintenance regimes, contracts, systems and procedures are in place ahead of handover.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance works, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are achieved.
  • Ensure M&E contracts are in full compliance with UK statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Work with Procurement and Site teams to manage and monitor performance of external M&E contractors
  • Support the mobilisation of new BTR developments and single-family housing units
  • Oversee the CAFM system
  • Review the certification and inspection records for service events
  • Support the General Managers with general FM queries
  • Drive sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental initiatives across the portfolio
  • Benchmark contractors and undertake tenders for maintenance provisions
  • Support the Building Safety Lead in areas of compliance
  • Assist site team with defect or warranty matters
  • Provide training to site teams
  • Implement FM policies and procedures

About you:

  • Prior experience working as a Facilities Manager with new build, high rise buildings
  • IWFM member level 4/5 or equivalent
  • Demonstratable experience managing H&S within residential buildings, especially fire safety matters
  • 5 years’ experience in managing hard FM contracts
