Apply directA great client from a large community in the North West / North East Washington, DC area is looking to hire a full-time leasing consultant for his busy community!
This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with diverse prospects and residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leasing/sales skills by helping touring parties envision themselves living in the community, understand rules and regulations under Fair Housing laws, and provide friendly customer service. The office team uses RealPage software, so having experience with that tool will be very helpful!
Responsibilities
- Lease! Lease! Lease! - Make outbound calls to interested parties and schedule tours
- Execute rental agreements and offer assistance by answering questions or directing them to someone who can help
- Follow Fair Housing laws - "What you do for one, you must do for all!" (Special treatment and/or discrimination will not be tolerated)
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of applicant records using their RealPage software
Qualifications
- Bilingual - English and Spanish language skills *required*
- Experience in property management or real estate administrative/leasing roles
- Familiarity with property management software - RealPage; transferable skills/knowledge may apply
- Excellent customer service skills - always smile and seek resolution
