Our client is a leading global company in the FMCG industry, and they are looking for an experienced Head of Modern Trade to lead their commercial growth in Thailand. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially driven professional with strong experience in Modern Trade, Key Account Management, and customer strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the overall Modern Trade strategy to drive sustainable sales and profitable growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) and annual business planning with strategic customers.
  • Develop customer strategies covering assortment, pricing, promotion, distribution, and in-store execution.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage key customer agreements and trading terms.
  • Drive sales performance, customer profitability, and effective trade investment management.
  • Analyze market trends, customer performance, category insights, and competitive activities to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Category, and other cross-functional teams to ensure strong execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Key Account team.
  • Provide strategic commercial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Health & Hygiene, Personal Care, or related industries.
  • Strong track record in Modern Trade / Key Account Management in Thailand.
  • Experience managing total modern trade channels including hypermarket, supermarket, CVS and OTC.
  • Experience managing major retail customers and developing long-term customer partnerships.
  • Strong commercial expertise in JBP, negotiation, trade investment, sales planning, and customer P&L.
  • Proven people management and leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of English and Thai.
