THE ROLE:

This LGV Mechanic position is focused on maintaining a fleet of commercial vans and passenger vehicles, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and available for customers.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks
  • Support vehicle preparation for customer hire
  • Complete maintenance and service documentation
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and diagnostic issues
  • Assist with occasional breakdown repairs where required
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards


THE PERSON:

This role will suit an LGV Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or qualified Motor Mechanic looking for a stable workshop-based position.

  • Qualified LGV Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Vehicle Technician
  • Experience servicing commercial vans and passenger vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Good understanding of modern vehicle systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Full driving licence preferred

LOCATION:
