Manufacturing Associate – Nesco Resource

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85009
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Nesco Resource is currently hiring Manufacturing Associates for a leading manufacturer of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants in Phoenix, AZ. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable first-shift schedule and the chance to grow in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Associate plays a key role in the production process by supporting operations from raw materials through final packaging. Responsibilities include operating equipment, monitoring product quality, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations
• Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Operate machinery and perform production tasks as trained
• Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors
• Perform startup and shutdown activities
• Maintain accurate production counts and documentation
• Keep production areas organized, clean, and free of hazards
• Grease, adjust, and clean machinery as part of preventative maintenance
• Cross-train across multiple production lines and workstations
• Train new employees and laborers as needed
• Attend safety meetings and participate in safety audits
• Perform general labor duties to support production needs

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Chemical manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and posted safety signage
• Understanding of lockout/tagout and hazard communication procedures
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
• Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks
• Ability to work in varying temperatures in a plant environment
• 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision
