Personal Lines Executive

The Role

My client, a well-established retail insurance broker based in Monaghan, is seeking a Personal Lines Executive to join their busy team. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position.

As Personal Lines Executive, you'll deal directly with customers in person and over the phone, handling new business, renewals and general policy servicing across a range of personal lines products in a fast-paced office environment.

Tasks & Duties

• Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing a friendly and efficient service
• Managing new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and quotations across Motor, Home, Travel and other personal lines products
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to cross-sell and retain business
• Liaising with insurers to secure competitive terms and process policy changes
• Maintaining accurate client records and policy documentation
• Handling a high volume of queries and walk-in customers while maintaining a high standard of service

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

• APA qualified, or working towards APA with relevant insurance experience
• Previous experience in a broker or retail insurance environment essential
• Strong working knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Ability to stay organised and composed in a busy, high-volume office environment
• Confident IT skills, with the ability to work across multiple systems
