Technical Business Analyst

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a high-performing technology team delivering a broad portfolio of enterprise infrastructure initiatives.

This is an opportunity to work alongside an established BA Practice Lead and experienced delivery leaders on an 18-month roadmap of essential technology uplift projects. You'll play a key role in shaping requirements, facilitating workshops, and ensuring complex infrastructure initiatives are successfully delivered from discovery through to implementation.

The role:

As the Senior Technical Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery across a range of infrastructure-focused projects.

You'll:

• Facilitate workshops to gather, challenge and document business and technical requirements
• Work closely with engineering, networking and infrastructure teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Translate complex technical discussions into clear, actionable requirements
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and stakeholders
• Identify dependencies, risks and impacts across enterprise technology environments
• Support delivery from discovery and planning through to implementation

Current program of work:

You'll contribute across a wide range of enterprise infrastructure initiatives, including:

• Firewall upgrades and replacements
• WAN/LAN and network uplift projects
• Telco upgrades
• Enterprise laptop refresh programs
• Azure infrastructure initiatives
• Data centre uplift and modernisation (planned within the roadmap)
• Ongoing enterprise infrastructure lifecycle management

This is not a cyber security role. Instead, the focus is on the physical infrastructure and networking that underpins the organisation's technology environment.

You'll ideally bring:

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on infrastructure, networking or enterprise technology projects
• Experience working across multiple concurrent projects
• Strong workshop facilitation and requirements elicitation skills
• The ability to engage confidently with technical stakeholders including infrastructure and engineering teams
• Experience working across Azure or cloud-enabled environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and other BA delivery tools
