A fast-growing Asian BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) investment and development firm, backed by one of the world’s leading battery technology providers.

We are seeking for a Finance Supervisor (Finance Operations Manager) to handle Hong Kong office financial operations and oversee a portfolio of overseas Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). Experience in a global investment environment and fluency in English & Mandarin are required. This role combines SPV financial governance, reporting, executive support, and local office administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • SPV & Financial Management: Take ownership of project-specific entities (SPVs), ensuring strict compliance, governance, and accurate financial reporting across jurisdictions.

  • Audit, Tax & Reporting: Oversee statutory filings, corporate tax matters, and annual audit processes. Prepare periodic management, investor, and board reports.

  • External Advisory Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for auditors, legal counsel, tax advisors, corporate secretaries, and outsourced service providers.

  • Executive & Board Support: Provide executive support to leadership (calendars, communications) and assist in preparing board materials and business presentations.

  • Office & Operational Administration: Oversee HK office operations, facilities, and vendor management while maintaining organized entity records.

  • Process Enhancement: Track financial performance, refine operational workflows, and enforce best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: Background in a global investment environment, private equity, or project-based platform with exposure to overseas holding structures (SPVs).

  • Finance Skills: Strong foundation in accounting and financial controls. CPA qualification or Big 4 audit training is highly preferred.

  • Languages: Full professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required.

  • Attributes: Self-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing cross-border stakeholders under tight deadlines.
