An exciting opportunity has become available within our client's Group Reporting & Analytics (GR&A) team for an experienced Finance Manager to join on a 9-month maternity leave contract.
This is a highly visible role within Group Finance, offering the opportunity to work across multiple business units and contribute to the delivery of critical financial and regulatory reporting outcomes for one of Australia's leading financial institutions.
Working within a high-performing team, you will play a key role in supporting regulatory reporting assurance activities, performing analytical deep dives across large and complex datasets, and partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Technology and Business Units.

Key Responsibilities
- Support regulatory reporting activities through detailed analysis across business-as-usual reporting processes
- Review, challenge and validate reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity
- Perform analytical investigations and impact assessments relating to regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, drivers, anomalies and reporting exceptions
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Technology and Business stakeholders across the Group
- Support the presentation of financial and regulatory information, highlighting key insights, risks and recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and data quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help strengthen the reporting control environment
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 5+ years' experience within Banking or Financial Services
- Experience in Regulatory Reporting, Group Reporting, Financial Control, Finance Transformation or related functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Advanced SQL and/or Python skills
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation tools
- Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts and business performance drivers
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
- APRA regulatory reporting experience
- Experience working within large banking environments
- Exposure to Finance, Risk, Treasury or Data Transformation initiatives
- Experience working with large-scale financial datasets
