Product Management Manager - Asia Pacific

Job Overview:
TE Connectivity is a global company (stock: TEL) which serves multiple industry segments. Automotive BU is the biggest business unit within the company, with annual revenue over 7 Billion USD, across the 3 regions in EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific.
We're hiring a Product Management Manager for TE JASEAN team, reporting to Senior Manager, PM Asia-Pacific. This role will be based in TE Japan, responsible for E-mobility product management in JASEAN, also closely work with other regions and other key function teams such as sales, engineering, operation.

Responsibilities:
1.Managing team: Lead team work as well as talent development (30%)
・Manage month-end and year end evaluate processes
・Manage product management team, set objectives and monitor progress
・Train and coach team members and monitor their performance
・Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them

2.Product Innovation: Drive product development & evolution to build / maintain market leadership with (30%)
・Proactive market trend analysis, close customer communication to define target product
・Competitor benchmark to understand product strength for GTM also improvement points for new product development
・Prioritization with cross-function alignment & Lead to get resource needed
・Coordinate internal team and resource to drive project launch and execution from front

3.Margin Improvement: Manage product margin to achieve target level / keep at healthy level (20%)
・Drive product cost reduction through close collaboration with operation / procurement / engineering team
・Control Price erosion / price increase with sales & pricing team
・Manage other related items such as product mix, Mfg source optimization

4.Other supporting task: Support AP PM team for other tasks such as (20%)
・KPI target setting & progress track
・Regional / Global best practice sharing
・Cross-country project coordination*20 - 30% of travel required
  

Requirements

 ＜Qualifications＞
Mandatory:
1.5+ years of product management or sales, program management, engineering experience
2.5+ years Automotive industry experience
3.Strong communication skills needed with cross-function team
4.Pro-active and fast speed of learning skills
5.Presentation/excel/data analysis skills needed
6.People management experience
7.Fluent English/Japanese are mandatory, other language such as Chinese would-be good plus
