Responsible for all aspects of mechanical component engineering from requirements analysis to component validation according to the V-Model methodology
Core Responsibilities And Activities
- Analyze mechanical component requirements and develop component specifications
- Establish component validation testing plan
- Perform design reviews and DRBFM
- Execute component design, modeling and simulations
- Execute component prototype builds
- Execute component validation testing
- Review testing results and component teardowns
- Support strategic development plans for assigned component
- Support platform and customer projects with expertise as needed

Drawings, DFMEA, DRBFM for concerned component

Previous Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive component design
- Brake system component design preferred
Education
- MUST: 4 year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field from an accredited university either in Japan or abroad
- PREFERRED: Master’s degree in technical field
Languages
- MUST: Full professional language proficiency in both English and Japanese
