Senior Bussiness Analyst (IT/OT)

The Opportunity

Join a major technology transformation program delivering the next generation of transport operations across Queensland. This is an initial 2 month contract, with 2x 12 month extensions in which you can play a key role in shaping a cutting-edge video and data analytics capability, working across complex ICT and operational technology environments. You'll collaborate with technical specialists and business stakeholders to define requirements, support solution design, and help deliver innovative technology that improves transport operations and incident management.

The Role

You'll work closely with project, technical, and business teams to define and deliver business analysis outcomes for a complex technology initiative.

• Gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional business requirements

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand current and future state processes

• Develop high-quality business analysis artefacts, documentation, and supporting plans

• Work alongside solution architects, developers, procurement, and project teams throughout delivery

• Support integration across ICT, operational technology, networking, and data environments

• Contribute to solution design focused on video analytics and streaming operational data

About You

You'll be an experienced Business Analyst who thrives in complex technology environments and can confidently bridge business and technical teams.

• Extensive experience delivering Business Analyst outcomes on ICT projects

• Strong understanding of data management, data processing, and systems integration

• Exposure to operational technology (OT) and IT networking environments

• Experience working with CCTV, video platforms, streaming data, or similar technologies is highly regarded

• Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills

• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex problems and deliver practical business outcomes

• Must have full Australian Working rights & be willing to meet in office requirements in Brisbane CBD
