We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the team across two key roles: Retail Assistants and Warehouse Pick Packers, supporting the mission of providing essential items to Victorian government school students experiencing hardship.
Retail Assistants & Pick Packers will work directly with students and their families, creating a welcoming and supportive experience while assisting with the selection of uniforms, footwear and educational resources. You will also play a key role in supporting the warehouse team, assisting with picking and packing online orders as required.
Warehouse Pick Packers will work behind the scenes, accurately picking, packing and preparing online orders to ensure essential items are ready for distribution to students and families.

Retail Responsibilities:
- Assist students, parents or guardians with their essential needs
- Process transactions in person and via the team’s online fulfillment portal
- Maintain store cleanliness and organisation
- Stock shelves and manage inventory
- Provide excellent customer service to students and families
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Picking customer orders accurately from warehouse stock
- Packing orders securely and appropriately for collection or delivery
- Conducting basic quality checks to ensure products are in good condition
- Replenishing stock and keeping shelves organised
- Assisting with receiving, unpacking and storing incoming stock
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and reporting discrepancies
- Keeping the warehouse and packing areas clean, organised and safe
- Working efficiently to meet daily order volumes and dispatch deadlines
What we need from you:
*Valid Working With Children Check - essential or be willing to obtain one*
- Retail and/or pick packing experience – uniform experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and confident in using systems and technology
- Comfortable adapting to business need, working between 3-5 shifts per week
The fine print:
- Hours: Generally, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. During the back-to-school period in January, you may be required to work some Saturdays (penalty rates apply) and extended hours between 7:00am–7:00pm
- During the busy period from October through to the end of February, you can expect to work 30+ hours per week. Outside of this peak period, hours will typically be 15+ hours per week.
- Duration: Starting ASAP - this is an ongoing casual position
- Rate: $34.65 per hour + superannuation
- Training: Full training provided to ensure your success
- Location: Dandenong South
