Electronics Engineer - Seating

Description:

Support Engineering team for following activities:

• Technical window in front of customers in terms of electrical engineering

• Contribution to promotion and development of products in line with

  quality/cost/schedule target

  Technical responsibilities:

• Understand customer technical specifications, to discuss and address them according to current or future technical solutions developed by Faurecia

• Clarify and explain customers’ specifications to Development teams in regions.

• Promote and explain to customers the choices and technical solutions proposed by

  Faurecia.

• Participate to RFS/RFI/RFQ process and ensure the customers’ expectations are taken in

  account and appropriate compromise is made as needed.

• Lead Electronics or software Design Review at customers and ensure the content and

  format meets requirements

• Organize and facilitate a regular project meeting with customers based on open issue

  list

• Ensure the conformity of the different technical answers to customers.

• Act as the communication channel to customers in Japan for technical matters with

  team support

  Management responsibilities:

• Organize and manage internal & external action plan following customer’s requests and expectations, then execute action plan to complete on time.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  o KnowledgeofcommunicationprotocolslikeCAN/LIN/ethernet/FlexRay o KnowledgeofelectroniccircuitsandcontrolforECU
  o Knowledgeofalgorithmtounderstandcontrolflows

• More than 5 years professional experience in a demanding role in Design & Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry

• Knowledge and experience in the seating business preferred

• Leadership experience

• Team player with strong communication skills

• International mind set

• English & Japanese required
