【Job Overview】
Our group is celebrating its 100th anniversary and continues to lead the industry, including being the first in the world to develop Level 3 autonomous driving.

As we enter a new stage of growth and innovation, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead OEM/OES projects , including components and systems with existing technologies.

【Division and Products】
Valeo Japan is composed of four divisions:

　１）Power Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

　２）Brain Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and reimagine interior experiences.

　３）Light Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for lighting everywhere.

　４）Valeo Service Division ： Provides after-sales services for all products from Divisions 1-3.

This position is within the Brain Division.

【Products】
Front cameras, sensors, vision systems, LiDAR, etc.

While being in charge of existing projects, we will also work to acquire new projects.
・Existing projects: Software updates, system/configuration changes, etc. for products already installed in automobiles in mass production
・New projects: If awarded, the candidate will work on the project for 2-3 years

Projects in charge scale and products will be matched to the candidate's skills (in some cases, multiple projects will be carried out at the same time)

【Job Description】
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full scope of project management, from operational and functional execution to team management, budget, and scope control.

- Plan, execute, and monitor assigned projects
- Achieve project KPIs (Quality, Cost, and Time)
- Manage resources and lead, evaluate, and develop team members
- Communicate with clients, including progress reporting, technical discussions, and issue resolution
- Manage project budgets, scope, and changes
- Prepare and coordinate with relevant committees and investment plans

【Business trip】
- Domestic
　OEM: 3 times a month at most, mostly day trips
- Overseas
　Germany (development center): once a year
　Other in-house development and manufacturing teams are in Valeo group companies, so I sometimes go there once a year.
　→China, India, Egypt, etc.

Requirements

[Required]
・Software knowledge
・PM experience (Sales background who understands technology is OK) or SW engineer who wants to challenge PM
・Automotive industry background
・English: Business level
・Japanese: Business level (N2 *N3 is OK if you can communicate)

[The person we are looking for]
・Has good communication skills (can organize a conversation well, catch up what is not understood and deploy it to the team members)
・Able to handle MTG that may occur at night since the production is done overseas
・Able to work in an international environment People (there are few Japanese in the team)
・People who are strong under pressure and can clearly assert their opinions
