About the Opportunity Join a dedicated and supportive paediatric team in North West Tasmania and make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
The Ward is a 16-bed Level 3 paediatric inpatient unit caring for patients aged 0–17 across general, surgical, orthopaedic, and mental health streams. You’ll work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the local community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Support patients and families throughout their healthcare journey
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and students

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient-centred care and safety
• Ability to work across a rotating roster
• Paediatric experience or postgraduate qualification (desirable)

Salary & Benefits

• $78,179 – $105,995 + 12% super (pro rata)
• Salary packaging: up to $9,010 living expenses + $2,650 meals/entertainment

  • Up to $15,000 (international)
