About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Drafter to join a high-performing infrastructure and studies team, supporting major mining and energy projects. This role involves developing high-quality drawing packages and working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams across all project phases from studies through to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop civil engineering drawing packages using Bentley MicroStation
- Set up and manage drawing environments including file structures, references, and registers
- Produce coordinated drawing sets including earthworks, drainage, pavements, and services layouts
- Maintain drawing registers, document control, and revision tracking
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accurate and aligned project deliverables
- Import and manage survey, geospatial, and design data for drawing production
- Ensure compliance with drafting standards and project specifications
- Support project timelines by delivering drawings within required schedules
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design coordination discussions
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a Senior Civil Drafter or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Bentley MicroStation
- Experience delivering civil drawing packages for infrastructure or mining projects
- Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, pavements, and utilities design
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, mark-ups, and technical specifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related qualification
- Experience with BIM, 12D Model, or 3D design environments
- Experience working with survey and geospatial data
- Experience on major mining or infrastructure projects
