MEP Construction Manager

SilverBack is looking for a Construction Manager MEP (Fixed-Term Contract)

Would you like to drive forward high-tech construction projects in future-oriented industries such as semiconductors, battery production, and data centres? SilverBack is seeking an experienced Construction Manager MEP to support the successful delivery of complex large-scale projects across the DACH region.

This is a fixed-term contract position offering a competitive package and the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within some of Europe's most advanced industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage MEP construction activities, including building services, HVAC, process engineering, and electrical systems.
• Ensure construction works are delivered in line with quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, design teams, and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with clients and internal project teams on technical and organisational matters.
• Ensure full compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and site procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, oversee acceptance procedures, and manage defect tracking and resolution.
• Verify measurements, review and approve invoices, and maintain accurate construction progress documentation.

Requirements

• Completed technical construction qualification (e.g., Master Craftsman, Technician) or a degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience supervising technical trades, ideally within industrial construction, high-tech facilities, or plant engineering projects.
• Good knowledge of VOB, German construction regulations, DIN standards, and relevant industry requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills with a confident presence on construction sites.
• Willingness to travel throughout the DACH region and work on-site during a standard five-day project week.
• Very good German language skills (minimum B2 level, written and spoken); English language skills are advantageous.
• Valid Class B driving licence.
