ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all team members and activities.
- Adhere to customer requirements related to all warehouse processes.
- Participate in 8D report preparation, when required.
- Apply continuous improvement assessments throughout the warehouse.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Enforce cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse.
- Analyze and recommend operational and infrastructure improvements.
- Ensure all products are correctly located both physically and in the WMS.
- Analyze, evaluate, and advise on inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper training is provided to warehouse personnel.
- Utilize KPI trends for operational improvements.
- Provide support, orientation, and feedback to assigned personnel.
- Ensure all warehouse paperwork is processed correctly for QOS data entry.
- Ensure work equipment, such as computers and forklifts, are maintained in good order.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Assist with cycle counts and receiving order discrepancies to ensure orders close properly.
- Red tag quarantine material in a timely manner to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Willingness to work in both production cells and on receiving dock as needed.
- Communicate any part shortages to management immediately.
JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
- Communicate late deliveries, order changes, missed information, and tracking numbers to customers.
- Notify the Manager or Supervisor of any anomalies in the operation.
- Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
General Qualities
- Ability to lead and train team members.
- Visually inspect products according to documented processes for potential damage or defects.
- Ability to comply with ESD procedures and processes.
Education and Experience
- Warehousing knowledge.
- High School Diploma.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Forklift operating license (or willingness to learn).
- Computer literate: basic inventory control system, Microsoft products.
- Safety Certification (CPR) may be required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Warehouse environment.
- Exposure to dust.
- Exposure to a variety of weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, etc.).
- Noise level can be very loud.
- Requires continuous standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and stooping throughout each shift.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- May require continuous standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and stooping throughout each shift.
- Some assignments may involve continuous repetitive motions.
