Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Processing Operator to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will safely operate our flat plasma cutter, clean and finish precision parts, and receive fully paid cross-training to operate our advanced tube laser machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking to expand their technical skills while earning a highly competitive local wage.

What You Will Do

  • Operate Equipment: Set up and run the flat plasma cutting machine according to project specifications.
  • Part Finishing: Clean, deburr, and quality-check finished parts to ensure they meet tolerance standards.
  • Material Handling: Load sheet metal and raw materials onto machine beds safely using overhead cranes or forklifts.
  • Technical Growth: Participate in hands-on training to program, load, and operate our tube laser cutting system.
  • Maintenance: Perform basic daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting systems.

What We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience operating CNC machinery, plasma cutters, or laser systems is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, fabrication drawings, and tape measures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Dependable work ethic with a strong focus on shop safety.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods.
