Mechanical Project Manager



Excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering contractor, as our client looks to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to support the delivery of major construction and building services projects across Dublin.

Our client is a well-established engineering contractor delivering mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and data centre projects throughout Ireland.

With a strong pipeline of work secured, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee project delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.


Role:


Based in Dublin, the successful Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing mechanical packages on large-scale construction projects.


Responsibilities include:


  • Managing mechanical projects from initial planning to final handover
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Monitoring project programmes, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Managing procurement and material deliveries
  • Attending project meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting commissioning and project close-out activities
  • Producing project reports and progress updates
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance


Person:


  • Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification preferred
  • Experience delivering mechanical building services projects
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Commercial awareness and budget management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced environments
