Our client is a well-established enterprise organisation undertaking significant cloud transformation and security uplift initiatives. With a strong focus on governance, automation and cloud-first technology, they are seeking an experienced Cloud IAM Engineer to support the ongoing evolution of their Identity and Access Management capabilities across multi-cloud environments.
Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud IAM professional to play a key role in managing access provisioning, authentication and governance across AWS, Azure and GCP. Working closely with security, infrastructure and cloud engineering teams, you will ensure access controls align with security best practices while driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage identity and access provisioning, authentication and governance across AWS, Azure and GCP environments.
- Configure, support and troubleshoot cloud-based IAM solutions while ensuring adherence to security best practices.
- Conduct access reviews, governance activities and root cause analysis to strengthen security controls and resolve recurring issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, security assessments, procedures and operational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation, process optimisation and collaboration with cloud and security teams.
Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years' experience in Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security or related disciplines
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and exposure to Azure and/or GCP
- Demonstrated experience with access provisioning, authentication and governance across cloud platforms
- Experience configuring and implementing cloud-based identity and access management solutions
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, identity governance and security best practices
- Experience building and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Experience working with cloud databases and cloud-native services
- Ability to develop automation using JSON and PowerShell scripting
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Relevant AWS or Azure certifications highly regarded, as is Tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
