Are you an experienced Accounts Officer who's looking for the flexibility of a part-time role? Let's talk!
I'm partnering with a local business in recruiting for a permanent accounts officer in their finance team, to come in and assist them with general accounting and administration responsibilities.
This will suit working mothers so they can do school drop offs/pick ups, semi-retired candidates who are looking to wind down on the hours or candidates who have other projects or responsibilities.
The role will be 24-28 hours per week and can be spread across 5 short days, or 3 to 4 longer days- totally up to you.
What they are expecting from you is your strong attention to detail, being good with numbers and ability to work with different stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be looking after the following but not limited to:
- Processing Accounts Payable and bank feeds on a daily basis
- Coordinating with stores opearations
- Managing stock control and assisting with stock take
- Maintaining records and submitting to Project Managers weekly
- Processing job costing
- Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with month-end processing
- Supporting with payroll
- Assisting with acounts receivable
- Experience in Accounts Payable function in a similar environment
- Strong understanding of job costing, stock control and reconciliation
- Construction or project-based industry experience is an advantage
- Ability to pick up project management systems
- With high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Permanent part-time opportunity
- Very flexible 24 to 28 hours per week Can be 5 short days, or 3 to 4 longer days
- $80K to $85K + super, to be prorated to part time hours
- 5 days in the office with staff parking available
