Opportunity
This is a hands-on accounting role covering the full transaction cycle, payroll, compliance and reporting functions. You will work closely with the wider team to ensure accurate financial data and smooth day to day operations.
- Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records across MYOB and Xero
- Run weekly payroll, including superannuation, PAYG, timesheet processing and leave accrual management
- Coordinate accounts payable, processing supplier and contractor invoices and maintaining compliance documentation
- Oversee accounts receivable, following up outstanding client payments and handling client queries by phone and email
- Prepare and lodge IAS and BAS obligations via the ATO Portal
- Allocate income and expenses accurately across relevant jobs
- Prepare and manage weekly and fortnightly cash flow forecasts
- Produce job profitability reports for management review
- Complete monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Provide general administrative and filing support as required
- Proficiency in MYOB AccountRight and Xero
- Experience with SimPro management software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
