This northern-based client is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Development Officer to lead the planning, development and delivery of critical infrastructure projects across the municipality.
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, this role will play a key part in delivering road, bridge, footpath and stormwater programs that support a safe, sustainable and connected community.
Key responsibilities include:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) is desirable.

- Leading road renewal, reseal and footpath programs
- Managing infrastructure projects from concept through to completion
- Coordinating contractors, consultants, utilities and stakeholders
- Preparing technical assessments, tender documentation and project specifications
- Managing permits, regulatory approvals and road reserve applications
- Supporting stormwater planning, asset renewal and long-term infrastructure strategies
- Securing and managing grant-funded infrastructure projects
