Mission
The Functional Safety Engineer is a key player in a new upcoming automotive skill field. She/he has the following tasks:
Undertakes all the functional safety tasks on a project
Ensures the respect of project milestones in respect with QCD rules
Coordinates the activities of the Functional Safety Engineers on the project
Supports the Project Team Members for Safety Requirements implementation

The Project Functional Safety engineer ensures the realization of Functional Safety activities for all Japanese OEM customers
Technical missions 
Perform functional safety activities on Projects in compliance with Valeo methodology: Safety Planning, Safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, Reliability), Safety Concepts, Safety Case
Interface with the Projects, with System, HW and SW metiers, She/he is the technical reference on the project for safety related questions
Performs some Valeo Safety Design Reviews on the required safety related projects
Supports the Standardization processes
Interface with the car manufacturers in the project meetings and reviews
General missions
Ensure the ISO26262 compliance on projects
Active participation to the Functional Safety team process continuous improvement
Ensure customer satisfaction on his functional safety projects
Active role in Valeo Safety Culture development

Requirements

Good level in documents writing (English and Japanese)
Experience in Embedded System, 
Hardware or Software design: >5 years
Knowledge of ISO26262 is a plus
