Key Responsibilities:
- Process planning permit applications, amendments, approvals and extensions
- Respond to phone, counter and written planning enquiries
- Provide clear advice to internal stakeholders and the community
- Support management with briefings, meetings and departmental priorities
- Contribute to continuous improvement across statutory planning processes
- Assist with administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records and files
- Proven experience in statutory planning within local government
- Confident working autonomously and managing competing priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable in a customer-facing environment
