Davidson Technology are working with a large State Government Department to secure an experienced Project Manager (M365) to support activities of a machinery of Government Program.


About the Role

As the Project Manager within the Project Delivery team, you will coordinate, oversee and manage the successful delivery and implementation of ICT projects in a complex, multi-stakeholder managed services environment. You will take a client-centric approach to understanding business needs and tailoring project delivery activities to achieve client objectives, while managing project scope, schedules, financial plans, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies. You’ll lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate activities across broader programs of work and develop implementation and communication plans to ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout delivery. You will build strong relationships with clients, partners and internal business areas, apply appropriate project governance and auditing principles, and proactively foster a collaborative working culture through knowledge sharing, mentoring and the consistent application of project management methodologies and best practices.


About You

As an experienced Project Manager, you will bring a strong combination of ICT project delivery expertise, stakeholder management and technical knowledge to successfully lead complex technology initiatives within medium to large organisations. You will demonstrate sound knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, with proven experience managing budgets, operational planning, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will communicate and influence effectively at all organisational levels, promote project management best practices and support the development of project management capability across teams. With tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent industry experience, you will have demonstrated experience coordinating M365 and Active Directory migration projects, supported by a strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, on-premises and hybrid AD, and Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID environments. You will also bring experience with migration technologies such as Microsoft FastTrack, Quest Migration Manager and BitTitan MigrationWiz, along with practical knowledge of domain consolidation, user and group migration, Group Policy, identity and access management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and conditional access, enabling you to effectively bridge technical and business requirements and deliver secure, well-governed migration outcomes.


The Benefits

You will be offered a 9-month contract (possible extension) on an excellent hourly rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement for the duration of the assignment.
