- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Law, Business, Finance, Economics, Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
- 8–12+ years of relevant insurance claims experience, preferably gained within an international insurer, Lloyd's market, insurance broker or specialist claims environment.
- Strong technical experience in Marine, Casualty and/or Financial Lines claims.
- Proven track record managing complex, high-value and contentious claims.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policy wordings, coverage analysis, liability, litigation and claims management principles.
- Experience working with brokers, insureds, loss adjusters, surveyors, external counsel and reinsurers.
- Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
- Experience with multinational or cross-border claims would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Professional qualifications such as ACII, FCII, CPCU or equivalent would be an advantage.
