Think Talent is partnering with a complex, multi-business organisation to appoint an experienced Senior HR Systems & Process Analyst to support the post-go-live stabilisation, adoption and optimisation of UKG across the Group.
Working as part of a major transformation program, this role sits at the intersection of people, process, data and technology. You will partner with People & Culture, payroll, employees, managers, technology specialists, vendors and implementation partners to improve how UKG operates across a diverse business environment.
This is a hands-on delivery opportunity for someone who can move comfortably between process analysis, stakeholder facilitation, system testing, data insights, change support and issue resolution.
The opportunity
You will help embed and optimise UKG to create simpler, more consistent and effective employee and manager experiences. Your work will focus on identifying post-go-live pain points, improving priority workflows and ensuring enhanced processes transition successfully into business-as-usual ownership.
Key responsibilities will include:
-
Reviewing employee and manager workflows to identify system, process and user-experience issues.
-
Analysing workflow performance, exceptions, approval pathways, hand-offs and recurring support requests.
-
Translating operational needs into clear business requirements and practical system improvements.
-
Mapping current and future-state HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
-
Identifying manual workarounds, duplication, process variation and opportunities for automation.
-
Facilitating workshops with People & Culture, payroll and business stakeholders.
-
Gathering user feedback and applying an employee-centred lens to workflows, forms, notifications, approvals and self-service.
-
Analysing UKG data, workflow volumes, exceptions and completion patterns to identify trends and priorities.
-
Investigating issues, establishing root causes and coordinating resolution across internal and external stakeholders.
-
Developing test scenarios and scripts, coordinating user acceptance testing and managing defects through to resolution.
-
Producing practical user guidance, process documentation, communications and training materials.
-
Monitoring system adoption and recommending targeted interventions where required.
-
Managing assigned workstreams, risks, dependencies, decisions and deliverables within program timeframes.
What you will bring
You will be an experienced HR systems, business or process analyst with a strong understanding of how people, payroll, technology and operational processes connect.
You will ideally offer:
-
Demonstrated experience working with UKG in a complex or multi-business environment.
-
Strong HR process analysis, workflow optimisation and process-mapping capability.
-
Experience supporting HR technology implementations, post-go-live stabilisation or optimisation programs.
-
Confidence investigating system, data and process issues and coordinating practical resolutions.
-
Experience developing business requirements, test scenarios and UAT documentation.
-
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to turn insights into clear improvement priorities.
-
The ability to facilitate workshops and build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Practical change, training and adoption experience.
-
Clear communication, sound judgement and a delivery-focused approach.
-
The ability to balance Group-wide consistency with the operational needs of different businesses and employee populations.
What success will look like
During the engagement, you will contribute to:
-
More stable and effective operation of UKG following go-live.
-
Improved employee and manager workflows.
-
Reduced manual work, duplication and avoidable support requests.
-
Faster resolution of system, data and process issues.
-
Improved data quality, reporting visibility and process compliance.
-
Stronger adoption across employees, managers, People & Culture and payroll.
-
Clear documentation and sustainable transition into business-as-usual operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of meaningful post-implementation improvements and directly influence the employee and manager experience across a diverse organisation.
If you have strong UKG expertise and enjoy turning complex people-process challenges into practical, sustainable solutions, we would love to hear from you.
