Licensed Beds: 449
Average Daily Census: 439
Position: Temporary Pharmacist
Missouri pharmacist license required
Dates of Coverage needed: Start early September and ongoing until perm hired
Coverage Hours needed: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, pharmacy closed on all Missouri state holidays
No weekend or on-call coverage needed
Order Entry System: Oracle/Cerner; no experience needed, training will be provided
Site Automation: Parata ATP2 Packager; no experience needed, training will be provided
Site Specialty Areas: State High-Security Psychiatry Hospital (note: working in pharmacy in a separate building outside secure perimeter; limited/no direct patient contact expected)
Staff Size: Pharmacists: 1 DOP, 1 Clinical Manager, 1 PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacist Resident, 1 Informatics Pharmacist, 2 Clinical Pharmacists
Job responsibilities: Primarily providing pharmacist check for the technician assigned to packager including checking of bags flagged by InspectRx, repackaging, bag corrections, and refilling of canister.
Also, check medications with barcode scanning after filled by tech.
Pharmacy Staff will be available for assistance if troubleshooting is needed.
Limited order verification so behavioral health experience not needed.
Tech support: runs packager, fill orders and prepare for pharmacist to check
~3 days of training are required prior to start
