Are you experienced in property, asset management, facilities maintenance, or construction and looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact?

We're seeking a Property Officer to support the development of a long-term asset maintenance strategy across a diverse residential property portfolio.

This is a project-focused role where you'll analyse property condition data, identify maintenance and renewal requirements, and contribute to the creation of a comprehensive 10-year asset maintenance plan.

Working closely with property professionals and key stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in ensuring assets are maintained strategically and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse property inspections, condition reports, and maintenance records to identify maintenance and capital renewal requirements.
  • Assist in preparing long-term maintenance forecasts, budgets, and asset planning schedules.
  • Conduct property assessments and provide indicative cost estimates for future maintenance works.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand property needs, maintenance priorities, and future planning requirements.
  • Liaise with contractors and consultants regarding maintenance projects and recommendations.
  • Support ongoing improvements to asset management systems, records, and processes.
  • Assist with the coordination and follow-up of maintenance and repair works across the portfolio.
About You
  • Experience in property, construction, building maintenance, asset management, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to analyse property or asset data and translate findings into practical maintenance plans.
  • Experience identifying maintenance, repair, and replacement requirements and estimating associated costs.
  • Highly organised with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Qualifications in property, building, construction, asset management, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Experience within community housing, social housing, residential property, or long-term asset planning is advantageous.
