About the Role
Every day you'll speak with customers experiencing financial hardship and work alongside them to understand their circumstances and find practical solutions.
These aren't quick transactional calls. You'll build trust, listen with empathy and make a genuine difference in someone's day.
Comprehensive training is provided, so we're looking for the right people—not necessarily people who have worked in banking before.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and remains calm under pressure.

This isn't a high-volume call centre where you'll race through dozens of calls every day.
You'll typically manage around 10-12 meaningful customer conversations per day, giving you the time to truly understand each customer's situation and provide the right outcome. Full training includes around four weeks of classroom learning followed by a structured three-month supported nesting period, so you'll be set up for success from day one.

- Handle inbound customer calls regarding financial assistance and hardship
- Listen carefully to understand each customer's circumstances
- Build rapport through compassionate and professional conversations
- Assist customers in finding suitable financial solutions
- Navigate multiple banking systems while documenting conversations
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences while meeting quality standards
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and remains calm under pressure.
You'll also have:
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong empathy and emotional intelligence
- Confidence handling sensitive conversations
- Good computer and system navigation skills
- Ability to learn new technology quickly
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail
