Key Responsibilities:
- Furnace operations including hot metal handling, lancing and tapping
- Monitoring and operating process plant equipment
- Control room operations and process monitoring
- Safe operation of mobile equipment and overhead cranes
- Responding to process upsets and maintaining stable operations
- Maintaining high safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards
- Proven furnace operations experience (hot metal handling preferred)
- Process plant operations experience
- Control room experience
- Current Dogging Ticket (mandatory)
- Experience operating or working around overhead cranes
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Telehandler
- Front-End Loader
- Forklift
