Project Manager

Design & Build are working with a well-established Melbourne builder who has been delivering architecturally designed homes across Victoria for over 10 years. Known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, they've established a strong reputation within the high-end residential market while building a collaborative and supportive culture.

They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple high-end residential projects valued up to $5m. Working alongside an experienced team of Site Managers and Carpenters, you'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the exceptional quality standards the business is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple high-end residential projects, ensuring excellence in time, cost, and quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout each project.
• Develop and manage project budgets; track and control costs to maximise value without compromising quality.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying and resolving potential delays proactively.
• Lead, support, and mentor Site Managers and project teams, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing high-end residential projects
• Trade/site based background is advantageous 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
