Responsibilities:

  • Manage low voltage projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Oversee structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode)
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project success
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Track project progress, manage change orders, and maintain detailed documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Support estimating, budgeting, and procurement efforts as needed
  • Lead and mentor field technicians and project teams

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, or data center environments
  • Proven experience managing commercial or data center projects
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics, terminations, and testing)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, network diagrams, and construction documents
  • Experience with project management tools and reporting systems
  • BICSI, OSHA, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
