Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling - Indianapolis, Indiana

Responsibilities:

  • Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
  • Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
  • Punch down voice and data jacks
  • Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
  • Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
  • Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts
  • Install and support access control, CCTV, audiovisual, and fiber optic systems


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of commercial/industrial low?voltage experience
  • Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
  • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
  • Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi?vis vest, steel?toe boots)
  • Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
  • Willingness to travel to job sites within Indiana as needed
