As the Operations Manager for the Civil & Construction Recycling (CCR) division, you will lead site operations, managing personnel, plant, and logistics to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role offers the chance to drive operational excellence while contributing to environmentally responsible construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day CCR site operations, including crushing, screening, and recycling activities
- Supervise site crews, machine operators, and other personnel
- Ensure strict compliance with WHS, environmental, and company standards
- Coordinate plant, equipment, and logistics to meet project deadlines
- Monitor productivity, quality, and overall site performance
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly
- Maintain accurate site documentation, reporting, and records
About You
- Hands-on experience with crushing and screening products
- Experience in recycling non-organic materials into building products
- Proven experience in an operations management role (highly desirable)
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy plant and mobile equipment (desirable)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Solid understanding of WHS and environmental regulations
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
