Contract to Hire
1st shift - Pay rate: $23.00 hr to $27.00 hr. (D.O.E.)
Andover, MA

Summary
Review and confirm models and prescriptions for accuracy and production. Seal 3D
printed models and carve for clasping in preparation for appliance production.

Daily Activities will include:
• Inspect and prep stone and 3D printed models for following assembly steps,
including carving for clasping and sealing for additional assembly steps including
acrylic.
• Mount models on articulators or bases as required
• Work with hand tools, drills, saws, and X-ACTO knives
• Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship
standards
• Record production information and track work progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals
• Average 50 – 70 points per day
• Other tasks as assigned

 Skill Requirements
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and small print for
assemblies
• Ability to use hand and semi-automatic tools including but not limited to: pliers,
hand drills, and X-ACTO knives
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a stationary, sitting position for several hours at a time
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and small print for

• Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Experience & Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing experience in a dental, orthodontic, or medical setting is
preferred
• Familiarity with orthodontic or dental terminology preferred
