In this role you will get to:
Assemble products using hand and power tools to position, align, and fasten parts and units into assemblies, subassemblies, or frame.
Install wire labels and device tags and work with different styles.
Review and understand job orders and interact with Epicor, by properly badging in and out of active job orders on the production floor.
Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) which are necessary to safely and properly operate the equipment and tools required to assemble the product.
Check completed units to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect components and sub-assemblies being produced.
Stand for long periods of time.
Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
Limited understanding of PLC, VFD and Circuit Breakers.
Understand and know the differences between NEMA ratings of enclosures.
Knowledgeable of identifying wire gauges, colors and understanding ampacities.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to effectively use a tape-measure, perform simple mathematics.
Basic understanding of schematics, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, and Feet.
Ability to work in a team environment while collaborating, troubleshooting and problem solving with coworkers.
