ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a commercially focused State Manager role with a strong emphasis on B2B sales, relationship management and stakeholder engagement. Acting as the face of the organisation across NSW/ACT, you’ll drive revenue through in-house training solutions, build strategic relationships with senior leaders and represent the organisation at industry events and forums. Working closely with an experienced national team, this role offers the opportunity to influence growth, expand networks and make a genuine impact in a highly visible position.

DUTIES
  • Drive sales of in-house governance and training solutions across NSW/ACT
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate training opportunities
  • Develop tailored proposals and present solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking and outbound activity
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, forums and member functions
  • Build strong relationships with councils, members and corporate partners
  • Support State Council coordination, reporting and governance activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts and revenue targets
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Proven success in B2B sales or business development roles
  • Experience selling training, education or professional service solutions preferred
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders
  • Commercial mindset with confidence managing sales conversations and closing deals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to groups and representing an organisation publicly
  • Highly proactive, autonomous and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working within membership, education or professional associations advantageous
