Exclusive search: a global diagnostics organisation is hiring a highly experienced APAC Finance Director. This is the most senior regional Finance role, with a CFO-level remit across FP&A, commercial finance, performance management, investment discipline and finance transformation.

Based in the Singapore regional hub, the role partners senior commercial leadership across both directly operated markets and distributor-led markets. APAC is a meaningful growth engine for the organisation, requiring stronger planning discipline, sharper commercial decision support and continued finance capability building.

The mandate requires a mature regional finance leader who can operate across complex markets, challenge commercial decisions, develop finance talent, and improve decision-making through analytics, automation and AI-enabled planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead APAC budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and business review cycles
  • Partner commercial leaders on growth investment, sales expansion, headcount planning and resource allocation
  • Strengthen ROI discipline, scenario planning, risk assessment and performance challenge across markets
  • Lead, coach and develop a dispersed regional Finance / FP&A team
  • Improve planning quality, forecast accuracy, data discipline and management decision support
  • Drive finance transformation across SAP, BI, analytics, automation and AI-enabled planning

Key Requirements

  • Over 20 years’ commercial finance / FP&A experience, within diagnostics, medical devices, healthcare, life sciences or FMCG
  • Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and commercial finance depth across multiple APAC markets
  • Experienced people leader with a track record managing geographically dispersed teams
  • Mature executive presence, with polished communication and presentation skills
  • High comfort with SAP, BI tools, analytics, automation and AI-enabled finance transformation
