Location: Ayutthaya, Thailand
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join a leading FMCG manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for managing and delivering capital investment projects across manufacturing operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with business objectives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving plant expansion, brownfield modifications, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives while partnering closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end execution of engineering projects, from concept development and feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX projects across manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Oversee brownfield projects including plant modifications, capacity expansion, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
Capital Investment & Engineering Excellence
- Support capital investment planning and provide technical recommendations for manufacturing improvement opportunities.
- Ensure project deliverables meet operational, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive engineering solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing capability.
Stakeholder & Contractor Management
- Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and finance teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
- Lead project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Cost, Safety & Compliance
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure effective cost control.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Engineering Project Management within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or related manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience managing CAPEX, OPEX, and brownfield projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, plant utilities, production processes, and engineering systems.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously from initiation through completion.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Good command both Thai and English
