This is a full-time permanent position commencing in Term 3, with working hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm.
The teaching structure consists of two student cohorts, with face-to-face teaching on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and Wednesdays dedicated to planning, collaboration and student support.

Duties
• Deliver engaging lessons in English and/or Social & Community Studies to Year 11 and 12 students
• Build positive relationships that encourage student engagement and participation
• Support students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds to achieve their individual goals
• Work collaboratively with teacher aides, leadership and wellbeing staff to provide tailored support
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Contribute to individual learning plans and student progress

• Secondary teaching qualification
• Ability to teach English and/or Social & Community Studies
• A genuine passion for supporting disengaged young people

The School
We're partnering with a well-established Special Assistance School that provides an alternative pathway for Year 11 and 12 students who have disengaged from traditional education.
With small class sizes of approximately 16 students and extensive classroom support, teachers are empowered to focus on what matters most - building relationships and helping students rediscover a love of learning.
The school values compassion, flexibility and connection above years of experience, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and graduate teachers who are passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
