Project Overview
- Major international resources and infrastructure project
- Delivering large-scale railway, road, and mining earthworks packages
- Opportunity to work on a high-profile greenfield development
- Reporting to the Lead Civil Designer, you will deliver high-quality civil design solutions across rail, road, and bulk earthworks scopes
- Work within a collaborative design team contributing to complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Detailed civil design and drafting
- Preparation of design documentation and drawings
- Earthworks quantity calculations and material take-offs
- Ensure compliance with:
- Project standards
- Design criteria
- Client and regulatory requirements
- Interpret:
- Engineering drawings
- Specifications
- Construction documentation
- 5+ years’ experience in civil design (rail, roads, or mining earthworks)
- Strong technical capability in:
- 12d Model
- MicroStation
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure or mining-related civil packages
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment
- High attention to detail and design quality
- Opportunity for occasional site travel (national and international)
- Exposure to large-scale, complex projects with strong technical scope
