Warper Tender

Nesco Resource is currently seeking a dependable Warper Tender position. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring warping equipment used to prepare yarn for the weaving process. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor warping machines and related textile equipment.
• Load yarn packages, cones, or beams onto equipment as required.
• Thread yarn through guides, tension devices, and machine components.
• Monitor yarn tension and machine operation to ensure consistent production.
• Identify and repair yarn breaks, tangles, or other minor production issues.
• Inspect yarn and finished warp beams for defects or quality concerns.
• Perform machine start-ups, changeovers, and basic adjustments.
• Remove completed warp beams and prepare equipment for the next production run.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Keep assigned equipment and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous textile, warping, weaving, spinning, or machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to work around yarn, fibers, and moving manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a production team.
